Celebrating his 10th Season as MAPC’s Director of Music & Organist, Andrew Henderson will be joined by the Saint Andrew Orchestra’s brilliant concertmaster performing works for violin and organ. Hailed as a strong violinist by The New York Times, Honduran-born Jorge Ávila has won attention as an outstanding violinist through numerous appearances as a soloist, recitalist, concertmaster, and chamber musician. Their program will include solo and duo works, including a Bach violin sonata, and works by Rheinberger, Kreisler, Bartók and Chris DeBlasio.
