Christopher Houlian at Kennedy Center

Christopher Houlian makes his Kennedy Center debut on May 4 at 8 p.m. on the Rubenstein Family Organ.

Houlihan's program features works by Vierne, Franck, Alain, and Bach. One of Houlihan's specialties is the music of the French composer Louis Vierne.  His "Vierne 2012" tour attracted international attention and critical acclaim for his marathon performances of Vierne's six organ symphonies in six major North American cities.

The Rubenstein Family Organ was a gift by Kennedy Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein, given in honor of the Kennedy Center's 40th anniversary in 2012. It was built by Casavant Frères of St-Hyacinthe, Quebec.

Tickets are $15, available online or at the box office by calling (202) 467-4600.
