THE DIAPASON
The Houston Chamber Choir concludes its 15th anniversary season on May 14 at the Church of St. John the Divine.
The program, entitled “Venetian Vespers,” includes the Mass by Giovanni Colonna, the Vesper Psalms and Magnificat by Antonio Rigatti, and other works.
Robert Simpson, founder and artistic director of the Houston Chamber Choir, was honored by Chorus America with the Michael Korn Founders Award for Development of the Professional Choral Art at its national conference in June 2010.
