Stephen Cary, tenor, and Cindy St. Clair, piano, will perform a 30-minute recital in Clingman Commons. Cary recently retired as Professor of Voice at the University of Alabama, and remains active as a performer. St. Clair is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Alabama, where she is a staff accompanist.
The Cathedral's Mid-Day Music Series opens with a free, 30-minute concert in Clingman Commons by Sarah Nordlund Dennis, violin; Laura Usisken, cello; and Smith Williams, piano.
Alfonso Lopez, violin, and Michelle Tabor, piano, will perform a free, thirty-minute concert in Clingman Commons at the Cathedral Church of the Advent at 12:30 pm. Lopez is concertmaster of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra. Tabor, a native of Caracas, Venezuela, is a concert pianist based in Tallahassee, Florida. More information: adventbirmingham.org
