Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan, dedicated its Mary Waterman Memorial Organ in Christ Chapel with a recital by Nathan Laube on April 15. The program included works by Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, and others. Christ Chapel is modeled after London’s St. Martin-in-the-Fields and has won several architectural awards.
The chancel organ was designed and built by Paul Fritts & Company Organ Builders of Tacoma, Washington, as its Opus 44, of two manuals, thirty stops. The company is also building the chapel’s three-manual, 57-stop gallery organ, which will be installed in 2022.
