Fund-raising continues for restoration of Beckerath at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio

THE DIAPASON

Friends of the Beckerath continue their fund-raising campaign for the restoration of the Beckerath organ at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cleveland, Ohio.

Built in 1956, it was the first large modern tracker organ in North America built to historic Baroque principles.

The restoration project includes the cleaning, repair, and restoration of all 3,467 pipes, repair of windchests, restoration of the console, and repair of the casework. Trinity has raised $80,000 of the $340,000 total needed for the restoration.
