A Halloween duo organ recital performed by MAPC’s resident organists! Arrangements and original repertoire for 2 and 4-hands includes Saint-Saëns’ “Danse Macabre”, Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries”, and works by P. D. Q. Bach, Mulet Gottfried Federlein and Petr Eben.

MAPC’s professional octet of soloists will be joined by guest professional singers in a performance of Bach’s  “Jesu, meine Freude,” and “Die Sieben Worte” (Seven Last Words of Christ) by Heinrich Schütz. Evocative motets written by extended members of the Bach Family, Johann Christoph Bach and Johann Ludwig Bach, will round out the program.
