Thomas A. DeWitt received a surprise honor on Sunday, January 19, for his 32 years of service as organist-choirmaster of Morrison United Methodist Church, Leesburg, Florida. The congregation presented him with the anthem The King of Love My Shepherd Is composed by Michael Burkhardt, commissioned in his honor. Mr. DeWitt conducts three choirs at the church, including an 88-voice Chancel Choir, and manages an active concert series.
