Spreckels Organ Society and Raúl Prieto Ramírez present Bach’s Birthday Celebration Concert, Sunday, March 21, 2:00 p.m. PDT.
San Diego Civic Organist Raúl Prieto Ramírez plays an all-Bach program, filmed at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion and various locations around Balboa Park. The no-cost webcast concert will premiere with a bilingual live chat March 21, 2 p.m., at balboaparkconcerts.org.
The program includes Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, the aria from Orchestral Suite in D, and more.
It’s been almost a year since the COVID-19 shut down, and during that time the nonprofit Spreckels Organ Society and Raul Prieto Ramirez have launched a series of fully produced, weekly online concerts.
