
On January 25 the premiere of Phoon Yu’s Straits in Sepia for Organ Duet was given on the Klais organ at Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore, under commission from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Straits in Sepia consists of two organ works, each based on two Southeast Asian folk songs, Dayung Sampan and Rasa Sayang. The performers were Holly Yang and Max Zuo.
