Iain Quinn, professor of organ at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, has been elected to the fellowship of the Royal Historical Society (FRHistS) and the Society of Antiquaries (FSA).
He has also been appointed an Honorary Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music and recently received the Edith and Richard French research fellowship from the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.
