2025 National Undergraduate Organ Competition prizewinners at First Presbyterian Church, Ottumwa, Iowa: Gavin Klein, Katherine Joliff, and Latimer Rogland

First Presbyterian Church, Ottumwa, Iowa, announces results of its 2025 National Undergraduate Organ Competition, held March 30. 

Katherine Jolliff, a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2023, is the winner of the first prize of $3,500 and the audience prize of $500. She is a student of David Higgs at Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York, in the class of 2025. 

Second prize of $2,500 was presented to Gavin Klein, a student of Ezequiel Menendez at College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts, class of 2026, and a member of The Diapason’s 20 Under 30 Class of 2025. Third prize of $1,500 was awarded to Latimer Rogland, a student of Nicole Keller at the University of Michigan, class of 2027. 

Judges were Charles Barland, Karen Black, and Jinah Knapp.
