The facilities of Fabry, Inc., Pipe Organs, Antioch, Illinois, were destroyed by fire on February 24. Twelve fire departments fought the fire for over eight hours, but the building became a total loss. The following day, while looking over what could be salvaged, the fire rekindled, and three Antioch fire trucks arrived to extinguish that. Fortunately, all office file cabinets were somewhat waterproof, and client files for 350 regular service clients were salvaged. Everything else was a total loss.

Fabry, Inc., stopped working for only one week. The firm is moving to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to two buildings that are being renovated. New machines are on order, and inventory is being replaced as needed. The new shop is to be in use by May. At this time, the office is still accepting correspondence at the old address: Post Office Box 601, Antioch, Illinois, 60002.
