Dobson Pipe Organ Builders, Ltd., Lake City, Iowa, is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of its founding in November 1974 in rented quarters on Main Street in Lake City. Five years later, the company moved to its own building on the town square. That building was destroyed by fire in 2021. A new workshop has been constructed, which is completed in time to celebrate this anniversary.
Bradley Welch will present a concert on Dobson Opus 13, built in 1980 for the Lake City Union Church, October 18 at 7:30 p.m.
On October 19, the new shop will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
