Concert organist John Weaver will be awarded Union Theological Seminary's "Distinguished Alumni Award" on October 17, 2008. Mr. Weaver will also be inducted into the “Hall of Fame” of his high school, Baltimore City College, on October 31, 2008; he is the first classical musician to be given this honor.
