The talented rising organist Katelyn Emerson returns to the Kotzschmar!

In May 2015, Katelyn graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory (Oberlin, OH) with double bachelor’s degrees in organ performance and French. As a recipient of a J. William Fulbright Study/Research Grant, Katelyn is studying organ, harpsichord, fortepiano, and continuo at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Toulouse, France for the 2015-2016 academic year.  In September 2016, Ms. Emerson will join the staff of the Church of the Advent in Boston as Associate Organist and Choirmaster.

Dave was awarded the prestigious American Theatre Organ Society “Organist of the Year” award in 2011, has toured Australia and New Zealand in 2003 and 2012 to rave reviews, and received accolades after his concert at the American Theatre organ Society 2015 Convention.
