The Diapason September 2015 Newsletter

September 22, 2015

Welcome to THE DIAPASON eNEWS.

We note the appointments of Joey Brink to the University of Chicago, Monica Czausz to Christ Church Cathedral, Houston, Charles Miller to Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists, Jean-Baptiste Monnot to St. Ouen Church, Rouen, and Tiffany Ng to the University of Michigan.

New recordings are available, by David Enlow, Barbara Harbach, and Donald Sutherland. Other news includes Paul Jacobs’ tour of England, Yun Kyong Kim in recital in May, and a new book of photography by Jenny Setchell, published by Dr. J. Butz Musikverlag. Susan and Stephen Talley were honored in April by Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, for their forty years of music ministry.

We are already preparing for the 2016 Resource Directory. Make sure your company is listed in this important reference tool for the organ and church music fields. For information, contact Jerome Butera: 608/634-6253, [email protected].

Our newsletter sponsor is Fratelli Ruffatti, whose new installation at St. Mel's Cathedral, Longford, Ireland, is featured on the cover of the September issue of THE DIAPASON.
