Timothy Tikker plays Charles Tournemire Organ Chorales: Triple Choral, Sancta Trinitas, Op. 41 (1910); and Sept Chorals-Poèmes pour les Sept Paroles du Xrist, op. 67 (1935) on a recording produced by Raven.
Tikker found the ideal organ for these works, the restored 66-stop organ built in 1936 by Michel Merklin & Kuhn of Lyon, France, for Église St-Bonaventure in Lyon, where Tournemire helped design the organ for grand acoustics. Raven has released it as an SACD (Super Audio CD)which will play on any CD player and will deliver surround sound when played on an SACD player.
