Sounds Lost But Not Forgotten

Sounds Lost But Not Forgotten is a 2-CD set of music for flute and organ released by Raven with The Hot Air Duo, J. Bryan Dyker, flute, and George Bozeman, organ; both are organbuilders as well.

Released for the first time in 2021, the recordings were professionally made in brilliantly performed live concerts presented in 1991 and 1992 at St. James's Episcopal Church, Richmond, Virginia, with the 84-rank Rieger organ of 1974. The organ was destroyed in a church fire in 1994, the same year that Dyker died at age 37.  Their fabulous playing includes works for flute and organ by Everett Titcomb, Fauré, Ravel, Hindemith, Kropfreiter, Emil Petrovics, and Otto Nicolai; works for organ alone by Bartok and Ernst Pepping, and works for flute alone by Robert Muczynski and Karg-Elert.
